How to Lock PDF Files?

Start the software, click on "Lock button" to start locking PDF files from the following screen -

You'll get a window that looks like this:

Use any button to select PDF file

  • Add PDF Documents - Select files 1 by 1
  • Add Folder having PDF Documents - Choose entire folder of PDF Files

After selecting PDF Files, software will list all the selected PDF files with location and file size details

To lock PDF files, firstly you need to check mark the Select All - to lock selected PDF files or you can select required PDF files also be selecting selected PDF as shown below -

Click on "Browse Button" & choose a location to save PDF files

Click on "Lock PDF" button to start the process

Next, you get this Windows as shown below, here you have to provide the protection details

Check on "Lock PDF Files using a Password" & type the password you want to apply

Check on "Lock PDF File for Printing, Copying & Edition", here also you will have to type the password. Also select which functions you want to disable.

Wait for few seconds the process will be done & you will get the following message
